Wait, Trust, Believe
Last Monday we had a test. And over the weekend, one or two asked me if a particular part would come out for the test. And I replied with some confidence that the lecturer mentioned that it would not. Or at least, she would only test on the basic concepts. But not on the tough details.
On Monday morning, I was going through that part for revision, and was starting to feel desperate. And I asked 2-3 people whether we needed to study for that particular part for the test. Incidentally, one of those I asked was also one whom I'd told earlier that the tough details wouldn't be tested. And she said,"I thought you were the one who told me it wouldn't be tested?"
Oops! Seems that I had lost my confidence in what my lecturer said!? And it sure made me feel really scared then because I became uncertain, and was afraid she wouldn't keep her word and test on those tough parts.
In the end when we went for the test, wow! It was much simpler than expected. Its indeed the kind of test that may have been too simple that we may not know how to do it. HaHA!

Now this reminds me of something too. One of the reasons why I lost my confidence might be that some point in my life, I might have been played out before. And find that it is hard to completely trust humans. Yes, in the end, my lecturer kept her word. But how many times do we promise someone something and break that promise....
But then my dear friends, there is God who never fails to keep His promise. Jesus Christ our Lord promised to forgive us should we go to Him on our knees and seek to change and be cleansed of all our wrongs against Him.
As time passes, we fail to believe in what God had promised. But that's why we pray to Him.. And as one man asked, "Lord, help my unbelief"
