How deep the Father's love for us
These words from "How deep the Father's love for us" have been on my mind lately..
"I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom.."

So fun!
Just want to share one of the fulfilling things done this week! Haha! It's nothing much.. Just sealing ampoules. If you haven't heard of them before, they are little containers used to contain fluid for injection. The ones we used were made of glass, and we had to seal it up after filling them with the soap we made. I've always been amazed at looking at fire melt glass and give it its shape. Finally! The chance came to see it, and do it myself! Initially I was very afraid I might do something wrong and most of the time my hands were trembling (which isn't very safe)... But once I tried it out and got the hang of it, it was really fun!
Was really, really grateful that the lab tech was so patient, and encouraging... And she also kept telling us not to be nervous and let us try it out on as many empty ampoules as we wanted before we did it on the ones that contained the soap we prepared.
For this whole practical, there were two difficult tasks. One, to make a soap, which was our product. Two, to seal up the ampoule and make sure that it did not leak. I was so afraid my friend could even see my hands tremble while holding the glass rod! In my fear, I could only turn to God.. Though very slowly done, the preparation was good. I really thank God that things went well, and for good friends. And you know what? As I was filling the ampoules with the soap, I thought I won't have enough soap to fill all the ampoules. Somehow, all of them were filled with at least 2ml each. If God even cares to provide in small things like this.. What more when in really tough times.
I'm just like everyone and face tough challenges in my life. But I can, and will continue to remind myself, and even those around me that Jesus Christ is God, and is in control of everything.
